Piazza della Scala 5

A unique structure for downtown Milan adds a special touch to Café Trussardi: the glass-enclosed dining area.

Inaugurated in April 2008, the area designed by the Carlorattiassociati Studio, one of the most interesting architectural firms on the international scene, is topped by greenery that is French landscaper Patrick Blanc’s first vertical garden in Italy.

Over three thousand tropical plants inside and outside the vertical garden provide an extraordinary setting for pleasant moments during the day: an international breakfast, a relaxing aperitif, or a delicious break accompanied by tasty food and drink from the kitchen and bar.

Winter or summer, dining in Café Trussardi’s dehors interprets the season: the best seasonal ingredients used in the food and cocktails surrounded by the delicate scents and splendid colors of Nature. The Café Trussardi vertical garden is an eco-sustainable project that optimizes the thermal insulation of the building while providing Milan with a new public space and an unusual urban garden of more than 100 square meters.
